Useful/interesting videos

Michael sent along a link to a thought-provoking video clip (“Did You Know 2.0″; link to YouTube) that he thought others might be interested in. It occurred to me that the blog is a good place to disseminate things like that, and that there’s probably a lot more interesting/relevant content to be shared. For example, I think anyone involved in IT should see the classic medieval “Help Desk” clip from Norway (link), and I enjoy a snappy treatment of Web 2.0 entitled “Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us” (link). There’s also a lot to be learned by watching teacher-created videos on TeacherTube.com. Some teachers are enthusiastically embracing the medium. For example, a Texas librarian who goes by “Dr. Loopy” (real name Doug Valentine) has created 54 videos (and counting). A Maine 2nd grade teacher, “mrtee073” (real name Tim Thompson) has created 34 videos (and counting).

So feel free to use this thread to share and discuss useful, interesting, and or relevant videos.
