Presentation: Del.icio.us and other social bookmarking environments

I thought the presentation on Del.icio.us was very interesting. Prior to this presentation, I was aware of social bookmarking but never saw or used one. The presentation immediately filled a need for me so I created an account and began using the product. It has already made my life easier as I move between multiple computers in multiple locations.

I have never used Del.icio.us before. But I think it will be a good tool for saving and sharing bookmarks between teachers and students. It would be ideal if teachers can share their bookmarks with students. Since students have existing resources they need the possibility of using information from some inappropriate Web sites will be minimized.
