I enjoyed your presentation about Captivate. I use Camtasia a lot - especially for "How-To" videos for teachers and my students. It serves my needs well and as per the discussion in class it does generate SCORM compliant files for e-learning (not that I know what that means!). Captivate does seem to have a number of capabilities that Camtasia doed not have - but that's probably why it's more expensive!Your presentation was well done - you clearly knew your topic!

I really enjoyed learning about Adobe Captivate. I used Camtasia before for graduate and classroom demonstrations, but it is not as impressive. I especially like how this tool allows the teacher to ask questions as the presentation is going on so students can assess how they are learning the material. The other aspect that I liked is the text boxes that give instructions because Camtasia just records your mouse, which at times can be difficult to follow. I plan on looking at Wink to see if it is any better than Camastia since Adobe Captivate is on the pricey side.

Captivate seems like a great product. Have a product that combines the "effectiveness" of PowerPoint and the ease of access of Flash is awesome. The only downfall I see is the price but that is probably because I am thinking too much like a normal consumer and not as a business/school. On that subject, do you know if Adobe offers volume license or educational discounts? In my experience, Adobe tends to hand those out like candy; as long as you verify your status.
